ITT Teach Primary Science app for iPhone and iPad

ITT Teach! Primary Science is a one-stop-app for all your teaching and academic needs. It summarises the science required by primary teacher trainees and provides numerous teaching ideas based on best principles. It encourages a practical approach including scientific investigations, deals with safety issues and identifies common errors and misconceptions. It links to websites to assist your personal subject knowledge learning and to support your science teaching. The current version will be updated in November to include all aspects of the England National Curriculum.

Alan Cross, the author, is a Senior Fellow at the University of Manchester. Alan trains primary school teachers in the UK and abroad in primary science and technology. His research interests focus on the pedagogy of teaching subjects. This includes the most effective teaching methods and those methods which are unique to subjects. Alan has published research and curriculum materials and has led a number of curriculum projects.
